I'm not sure what I think about these pictures, still absorbing them. Li Wei claims no Photoshop, only the use of props and mirrors and whatnot. Legit or not, interesting work.

The sky looked like the nothing from "A Never Ending Story" today. Many thoughts about our state right now...
We are broke, we are burning to the ground, we've re-outlawed gay marriage, and we've passed a bill to spend a gazillion dollars on a really fast train to get us the hell out!
At least gas is cheap. At the moment.

I have spent several years photographing abandon military bases, defunct office complexes, and community remains. I am fascinated with the way we just leave, and ultimately forget- the outta sight outta mind mentality. Wasteful carelessness with the land that we inhabit.
Ok, enough thinking. Next time you need to leave town on a romantic getaway/ photo adventure, and at the same time need a reminder at just how disgusting people are, check out this site on the 10 most amazing ghost towns in the world.
