Spent last Sunday with my mom and brother burning in the sun at the Love Ride in Pomona. I've never seen so many bikes. Loud pipes save lives.

I saw Kelby at Photoshop World, and he's great. If you have the time you should definitely attend. They don't come to Southern California very often.

My friend Winston Torr just had an Ebay Celebrity Charity Auction in Berlin on Thursday October 9, 2008. His work is great, figure drawings on newspaper.

My friend Rony is having a closing party for his photo exhibition this week. Royal Elastics and BPM put the show on- it's been very successful and looks incredibly cool.
Here are the pics to the opening. If you have time, check it out. And buy a t-shirt.

Photoshop LAB Color Book

Photoshop LAB Color: The Canyon Conundrum and Other Adventures in the Most Powerful Colorspace is a must read you guys/gals! Not for the faint of heart, but if you do serious retouching and color correcting, this is the world which you need to live in. Be the one who answers the questions, not asks them.

The ASMP Working With An Architectural Photographer Handbook is a great resource for both emerging photographers and clients new to the hiring/shooting process. Every client is different, most shoots are different. Obviously a shoot doesn't have to be as formal and blah as this handbook states, but definitely worth the read.

New Apple Cinema Display

For those of you living in a cave without internet, Apple announce a bunch of new stuff today, my favorite is the 24" Cinema Display. Out in November. Need it now.

iPhones at Walmart!

Not surprising, but rumors are saying that Walmart will carry iPhones. I wonder if they will begin sharing employees as well, both seem to be of the same denomination and mental capacity. Of course I am guilty of spending too much time in both, a sucker for cheap prices and innovative designs. Just wish they both had self serve check out and $1 soft serve ice cream like Ikea.

Photoshop World

After attending Photoshop World a few weeks ago, I have started spending an hour each day improving my Photoshop skills. The conference provided a wealth of information and resources which I have already begun to incorporate into my everyday workflow. I will begin posting relevant info related to Photoshop in days to come. Many people on campus are asking me about CS4. Although I saw the keynote at Photoshop World, I'm just as anxious as the next guy, and won't start consultation until after it's release.
And one more thing, join NAPP!

New Site Up and Running!

After several revisions and many many long hours, my new site is up. Sara has done a remarkable job! I'm the pickiest person in the world, and she has persevered. The VR page is still going through some changes, so in the meantime I have simply posted a couple of 360 still images. I guess this means I actually have to start blogging.
